Iman Sadeghkhani received the B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in electrical engineering from the Islamic Azad University of Najafabad, Najafabad (IAUN), Iran, in 2007, the M.Sc. (Hons.) degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kashan, Kashan, Iran, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, in 2017. He is currently an Associate Professor at Najafabad Branch, Islamic Azad University, Iran. His areas of interest include fault detection in electrical power and photovoltaic systems and protection of both AC and DC microgrids. Dr. Sadeghkhani is the Associate Editor of the Journal of Intelligent Procedures in Electrical Technology and a Reviewer for several IEEE Transactions and IET journals. He was a recipient of the University of Kashan Award for Distinguished Research in 2010 and the Exceptional Reviewer Award from the IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery in 2014. He is a founder of SoftBargh startup which develops the technical and educational software products for electrical and renewable energy engineering.
